How do I get that dang sticky label off my jar? 

Rubbing alcohol and a rag!  The rubbing alcohol will dissolve any sticky residue.

Do you offer personalization of jars?

Do you date or value vintage jars?

No, we don't value jars though we do love to see pictures of your collections.  We recommend The Red Book of Jars  by Douglas M. Leybourne Jr. for your jar valuation needs.

 

Do you purchase jars?

Yes, we do, please send us a detailed list with plenty of pictures and your asking price info@masonjarmerchant.com.

 

Do you sell any plastic mason jars?

No, we try to steer clear of drinking and eating out of plastic whenever possible.  All of our mason jars are real canning jars unless otherwise noted on the product page.

 

Do you manufacture jars?

Not at this time.  Though we sell many brands, we don't manufacture any of them, and can't answer your questions in regards to the product defects some brands currently being manufactured in Asia are experiencing.

Mason Jar Merchant will not ever sell you a jar that we can see or know to be defective in any way.
